Dubai is taking another major step in improving its road infrastructure with the Hessa Street upgrade, a project set to transform daily commutes for thousands of residents.
The highlight of this development is a significant reduction in travel time — cutting journeys from 50 minutes down to just 25 minutes. This improvement will greatly ease congestion along one of Dubai’s busiest corridors.
Led by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the project focuses on enhancing connectivity between Al Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, serving key residential communities such as JVC, Dubai Hills, and Al Barsha.
The upgrade includes:
- Road expansion to increase capacity
- New bridges, tunnels, and improved intersections
- Smoother traffic flow across peak hours
Once completed, the project will not only reduce commute times but also improve overall traffic efficiency and road safety, benefiting hundreds of thousands of residents.
This initiative is part of Dubai’s long-term vision to build a smarter and more connected city, where infrastructure keeps pace with rapid urban growth.
For residents and investors alike, this means one thing: better accessibility, less time on the road, and higher lifestyle value in surrounding communities.
